Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Georgetown, TX. You will perform skilled specimen collections, enter patient data accurately, and provide exceptional service to patients in a fast-paced lab setting.

This on-site role offers a stable daytime schedule, with potential overtime. You will travel to additional sites as needed and contribute to high-quality patient care and accurate testing processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Able to work in a fast paced/high volume environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
