Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in El Paso, TX. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and act as the face of Labcorp in a patient service center.

You will collect blood samples, enter data accurately, and support billing processes while maintaining schedules and logs. A phlebotomy credential and customer-service mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency is required in lieu of work experience.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Current or prior Labcorp experience is preferred.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and maintain reliability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
