Job summary

Labcorp in Alton, IL seeks a Phlebotomist to join our patient service team. You will perform skilled specimen collection, ensure accurate data entry, and provide excellent customer service across patient populations. Travel to additional sites may be required, with a schedule Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm and one Saturday monthly, as listed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
