Trinity Health is seeking a Phlebotomist for Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT. You will work in the Physician Blood Draw Department to obtain blood specimens, process samples for analysis, and ensure proper patient registration. Flexibility to cover locations as needed is required.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, labeling, and handling orders. Candidates should have a high school diploma, phlebotomy training, and strong communication, with at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of phlebotomy program.
• National Phlebotomy Certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Identify patients and perform venipuncture using standard methods.
• Label specimens following lab policy.
• Receive/cancel orders and process specimens.
• Flex to cover other sites when necessary.
