Trinity Health's Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to join the inpatient lab. You will obtain in-house blood specimens and process laboratory specimens for clinical analysis, while providing patient information to the appropriate caregiver.

Your work supports timely and accurate diagnoses across care teams. Responsibilities include venipuncture using standard methods, specimen labeling, and processing orders.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain in-house blood specimens and process laboratory specimens for clinical analysis.
• Provide patient information to the appropriate caregiver.
• Properly identifies patients and performs venipuncture using standard methods.
• Label all specimens following laboratory policy.
• Receive/cancel orders and process laboratory/microbiology specimens.
