Job summary

Labcorp in Chelmsford, MA seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform skilled venipuncture and capillary collections across all ages, ensuring patient comfort and accurate data entry.

You will collect specimens for various tests, process billing where needed, and support travel to additional sites. A phlebotomy certification or training, or 6 months+ experience, and a high school diploma are required; LabCorp experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: LabCorp experience; 1+ year phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
