Job summary

Interpath Laboratory is seeking a Phlebotomist/Processor to join our Float team. The role requires at least 1 year of professional phlebotomy experience and involves patient blood draws, specimen processing, and coverage across locations to support daily operations.

Starting pay is $18 per hour, with flexibility based on experience. Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule; location and shifts may vary to meet operational needs. Benefits include health, retirement, PTO, and in-house testing.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience in clinical laboratory, physician office, hospital, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience working with pediatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture for blood collection.
• Obtain additional specimen types as required and prepare samples for lab testing.
• Verify and enter specimen information; ensure correct patient identification and data integrity.
• Receive, process, and package samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Adhere to safety protocols, HIPAA policies, and quality assurance activities.
• Provide coverage to support clinic operations and day-to-day workflow.
