Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Apple Valley, CA and surrounding areas, including Barstow, Hesperia, and Victorville. This role covers varied sites with a Monday–Friday 6:00 am–6:00 pm schedule, and occasional weekends.

You'll perform venipuncture, collect specimens, and ensure accurate data entry while delivering excellent patient service. Ideal candidates have 6+ months phlebotomy experience and a California CPT license, plus bilingual Spanish/English abilities.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more of experience as phlebotomist.
• California state Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.
• Bilingual Spanish and English.
• Be at least 21 years of age; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
