Job summary

Labcorp in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team. Responsibilities include blood collection, specimen processing, and data entry with standard hours Monday–Friday and possible Saturdays.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; a year of phlebotomy experience is preferred. Excellent customer service and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Other Duties as assigned
