Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Winston-Salem, NC. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods for patients of all ages, data entry, billing support, and delivering patient care with a focus on service excellence.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or completion of training (or 3+ months of experience). Overtime and travel between locations may occur; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
