Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Redding, CA. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques, processing specimens for testing, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or CA CPT license. Preferred experience includes 1+ year as a phlebotomist, prior Labcorp exposure, and bilingual Spanish/English communication. Some travel to additional sites is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or CA CPT license may be required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with phlebotomy and handling diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients
• Travel to additional sites as needed
