SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a float, contract role covering multiple Albany-area sites in New York. The position requires blood draws, specimen labeling, and adherence to lab procedures across Castleton, Delmar, Catskill, and surrounding locations.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with early starts around 6:30am to 5:30pm; projected duration is 3 months with potential for permanent hire. Benefits are available and prior phlebotomy experience is required.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and data maintenance.
• Collect and store specimens per established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Label, centrifuge, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend annual trainings.
• Answer calls and relay laboratory results as needed.
