Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent hire. The float position covers Castleton, Delmar, Catskill, Schenectady, Cobleskill, Latham, Amsterdam, Valatie, Albany, and Guilderland.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen processing, labeling, and data entry. Requires 2 years of phlebotomy experience and state certification where required. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification may be required by state law
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately
• Collect, centrifuge, and store specimens per procedures
• Explain venipuncture steps clearly to patients
• Ensure specimens are properly packaged for transport
• Maintain accurate patient and test data and documentation
