Labcorp in Succasunna, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team. The role involves venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, specimen handling, data entry, billing and travel to additional sites. Schedule includes Monday–Friday with some rotating Saturdays.

The position emphasizes reliable customer service, accuracy in specimen processing, and flexibility to work across multiple sites. A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience.
• 1 year experience doing pediatric blood draws.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (if no work experience).

Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Succasunna, NJ. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 7:00am-7:00pm and rotating Saturdays 8:00am-1:00pm.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience
• 1 year experience doing pediatric blood draws
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
• Be at least 21 years old

Pay Range

$17.75- $24.00 per hour

Float Incentive

Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement
