Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages. The role includes collecting specimens for drug screens and tests, data entry, and specimen preparation for analysis.

The position requires completing a phlebotomy certification or training program, with a proven customer service track record. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
