Job summary

Centers Laboratory in Reading, PA is seeking Phlebotomists with strong interpersonal skills to join our team. You will draw blood, prepare patients, and ensure proper handling of specimens across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience, and a Phlebotomy Technician certificate or equivalent hospital training. Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy Technician certificate preferred or hospital lab training program completed.
• Understanding of standard blood draw practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and prepare them for blood draws.
• Assemble supplies and equipment for specimen collection.
• Draw blood using proper techniques and ensure proper test tube order.
• Label specimens and deliver them for testing.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety protocols.
• Ensure samples are collected with accuracy and quality control.
