Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Non Degree Program Medical Assistance or related program preferred.
• 1 year experience in Phlebotomy preferred.
• Driver's License preferred.
• Certified Phlebotomist Tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draw and collect blood specimens from identified patients.
• Record necessary information following established methods and procedures and hospital rules and regulations.
• Receive and process specimens and maintain laboratory supplies.
• Perform Point of Care Tests, interpret results, and document patient and control results according to the SOP.
