Job summary

Centers Laboratory of New Jersey is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ. The role involves collecting blood samples from patients, preparing them for testing, and ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience, strong interpersonal skills, and strict adherence to safety procedures. Must be able to work weekdays 8 AM - 7 PM across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certificate preferred or hospital/lab training completed.
• 2 years proven experience as phlebotomist.
• Good interpersonal communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients accurately using wristbands or documentation.
• Prepare supplies and equipment for specimen collection.
• Draw blood using proper techniques and equipment.
• Label tubes correctly and ensure proper test order.
• Maintain patient comfort and confidentiality.
• Follow safety standards and dispose of sharps properly.
• Monitor patient reactions and provide aftercare instructions.
