Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Gastonia, NC. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, ensuring accurate data entry and handling of specimens for testing.

You will provide patient-focused service and support billing processes as needed. The role supports a casual schedule with hours between 7:00am and 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed.
