Job summary

Labcorp in Greer, SC is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-focused team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods, collect specimens for tests, and provide courteous service to patients and clients.

This casual position supports a Monday–Friday schedule 7:00am–7:00pm, with potential overtime, and offers opportunities for growth within Labcorp. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy training or certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist (preferred).
• Phlebotomists may be eligible for PST Incentive Plan based on performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
