Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a Phlebotomist to assist in performing venipuncture, specimen handling, and related duties in a fast-paced lab environment. This contract position includes responsibilities such as labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining accurate patient information.

Experience with pediatrics, geriatrics, and hard sticks is preferred; benefits are available. Schedule is M-F, 8am-4pm, with a projected duration of 3 months and potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed is required.
• Minimum of 5 work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing venipuncture and related duties such as labeling specimens and centrifuging specimens.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination; update patient information as required.
• Collect and store specimens according to established procedures.
