Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in Gastonia, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with benefits available.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens, and maintaining data integrity. Must hold phlebotomy certification and have at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the employed state.
• Minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, label specimens, centrifuge, and decontaminate.
• Record maintenance data and update patient information.
• Prepare specimens for transport and verify test orders.
• Explain procedures to patients clearly and courteously.
• Adhere to OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings.
