Qualifications

• Reads and understands English.
• Ability to think critically and analytically with little or no supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in situations of high stress and conflict and communicate goals and outcomes.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Graduation from approved Phlebotomy program preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience is desired but not required.

Responsabilités

• Procures and routes laboratory specimens from outpatient and inpatient collections.
• Maintains laboratory files and related clerical duties in the laboratory.
• Understands age-specific requirements for patients of all ages and demonstrates required competencies.
• Other duties may be assigned by laboratory management.
