Job summary

ImpactLife in Urbana, IL seeks a Collection Specialist Driver to support donor registrations, screenings, phlebotomy, and donor care during donation. The role includes driving large blood center vehicles, setting up and tearing down the collection operation, and restocking supplies.

You must be able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends, and train away from home for up to two weeks.

• Understand the importance of following standard operating procedures
• Be able to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
• Be able to train away from home for up to two weeks at a time
• Be comfortable driving larger vehicles (i.e. box-trucks, truck and trailer combos)
• Be comfortable driving in various weather conditions
• Possess a valid driver's license in the state in which you reside and be insurable by our insurance carrier
• Hold or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Certification Physical card
• Pre-employment background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct donor registrations, screenings, physicals, and phlebotomy.
• Provide donor care during the donation process.
• Drive large blood center vehicles to transport blood drive supplies and team members.
• Set up and tear down the collection operation.
• Restock supplies.
