The American Red Cross is seeking dedicated individuals to join our phlebotomy teams in Seattle. Paid training is provided, and no prior medical experience is required. You will welcome donors, collect blood, and support lifesaving operations at fixed sites.

Qualifications

• Associates degree OR a combination of education and work experience is required.
• Minimum of one year customer service experience in public setting is required.
• A current, valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include lifting/pushing heavy weights and long hours; ability to sit/stand for long periods.
• Basic computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Take time to personally connect with donors and explain the impact of donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for volunteer donors.
• Ensure blood collection meets goals and regulatory requirements, and is safely transfused.
