Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; post-HS phlebotomy training preferred.
• ASCP PBT certification or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Obtain blood and other specimens for laboratory testing per orders.
• Verify patient identification and prepare venipuncture site using aseptic technique.
• Label specimens and transport to the Laboratory for analysis.
