Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Cedar Point, NC team. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:00pm. You will perform blood collections, collect various specimens, and ensure accurate data entry and patient service. Travel to additional sites may be required, with opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, or 6+ months experience. PST incentive plans may apply.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months experience as phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
