Labcorp in Dungannon, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages. The role includes collecting specimens for drug screens and tests, and entering patient information accurately and timely.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training/experience. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential; travel to additional sites may be required.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
