Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Mansfield & Richland Correctional Institutes team. The shift is Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm with occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities include blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques, collecting specimens for various tests, and accurate data entry. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; 3+ months of phlebotomy experience accepted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
