Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Ross Correctional Institution in Chillicothe, OH. The schedule includes mornings and afternoons with multiple shifts at the facility location.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, prepare specimens for testing, enter data accurately, and assist with billing and travel to additional sites as needed. Strong customer service and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• Or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
