Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a medical clinic in Shawnee Mission, KS 66204. You will perform skilled specimen collections and provide exceptional customer service, acting as the face of the company.

Responsibilities include venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, data entry, and preparing specimens for testing, with travel to additional sites as needed. A high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training are required, plus strong communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
