Job summary

Labcorp in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Phlebotomist to join a medical clinic team. The role involves performing skilled specimen collections and delivering frontline client service in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You will be responsible for venipuncture + capillary collections, data entry, and supporting billing processes while traveling to additional sites as needed. A high school diploma is required, and prior phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently or within a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites as required.
