Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Midland, TX team. In this role you will perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques across age groups, provide exceptional patient service, and maintain accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and phlebotomy experience or certification, with strong communication and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience preferred; or completion of a phlebotomy training program.
• Able to assist diverse patient groups (pediatric to geriatric) and pass a color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for various tests and process paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and maintain accurate records.
• Travel to additional sites as needed and handle billing information as required.
