Job summary

Mercy Health in Tiffin is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the Laboratory Department. You will draw quality blood samples, prepare specimens for testing, and perform clerical duties to maintain efficiency.

You may travel to off-site locations as required, and you will interact with patients and staff in a respectful, professional manner. Requirements include a High School Degree or GED, and phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Provides excellent customer service by greeting patients and the community in a respectful manner.
• Collects specimens according to procedures and ensures proper processing.
• Identifies patients accurately and matches identity with the correct service.
• Data entry and processing of specimens by labeling, centrifuging, and freezing as ordered.
• Performs clerical duties such as inventory checks and answering phones.
