Job summary

KLA Industries, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in San Antonio, TX, with potential to convert to permanent. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 7am–5:30pm, 8-hour shifts, with a 3-month projected duration and benefits available.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, and data maintenance. Requires at least 1 year in diagnostic phlebotomy and state phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• Valid state phlebotomy certification.
• Minimum of 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Package and transport specimens per protocol.
• Ensure correct labeling and test requisitions against scripts.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations.
