Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed (as required).
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and prepare specimens for testing.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection procedures clearly to patients.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings annually.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity.
