Talent With Heart is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in Vista, CA. The role involves performing venipuncture, labeling and processing specimens, and maintaining accurate patient information and records.

The schedule is 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend rotation and mileage reimbursement. Qualified candidates have a state phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in fast-paced labs, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Decontamination and updating patient information as required.
• Package and transport specimens following protocol to maintain integrity.
