Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Decontamination and proper packaging of specimens for transport.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Ensure test requisitions match specimen tubes and labels.
