Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking a Phlebotomist in Oceanside, CA for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. Schedule runs 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday–Friday, with weekend rotation as needed. The position includes a 3-month projected duration with mileage reimbursement and benefits.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, data recording, and adherence to OSHA/DEP regulations. Requires a valid phlebotomy certification and 6 months' venipuncture experience.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED (1-4 years of experience)

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Package specimens for transport and store according to procedures.
