Projected duration is 3 months with potential for extension or permanent hire. Responsibilities include performing venipunctures, labeling and centrifuging specimens, maintaining records, and ensuring proper transport and temperature control.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification required in state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and collect specimens.
• Label and centrifuge specimens as required.
• Record maintenance data and document lab activity; ensure OSHA/DEP compliance.
• Explain venipuncture process to patients in a clear, courteous manner.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain sample integrity.
