Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients and collect specimens.
• Match requisition forms to specimens and ensure correct labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and attend department trainings.
