Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge specimens and document maintenance data.
• Collect and store specimens per established procedures and keep accurate patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients; ensure specimen integrity.
