Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a Phlebotomist in Latham, NY for a contract role with a potential for permanent hire. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pm, with alternating Saturdays 7:00am–1:00pm. The assignment lasts about 3 months with possible conversion to permanent position.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen handling, labeling, and following all safety and regulatory requirements. A valid phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience are required.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification required in state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens per procedure.
• Collect, label, and prepare specimens following protocols.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and ensure specimen integrity.
• Follow safety, OSHA, and department trainings; document results and maintenance.
