Ridgemont Resources, Inc. seeks a Phlebotomist to support blood collection and specimen handling in Latham, NY. The role includes blood draws, labeling, and ensuring specimen integrity, with attention to patient communication and safety protocols.

Contract position for approximately 3 months with potential for permanent placement, schedule Monday–Friday and some Saturdays, working in a clinical or hospital setting.

Competenze

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Perform blood draws and label specimens per protocol
• Centrifuge, decontaminate, and document specimens
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients
• Label, store, and package specimens for transport
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and attend trainings
• Assist with data entry and patient information updates
