Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment
• Minimum 5 years work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge specimens and maintain data records.
• Collect and store specimens according to procedures and test orders.
• Explain venipuncture process to patients and ensure specimen integrity during transport.
