Qualifications

• Valid California phlebotomy certification or equivalent as required in the state.
• Minimum 6 months’ venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper temperature controls.
