Top Echelon LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Vista, CA. The position involves blood draws, specimen labeling, and lab workflow tasks with potential for permanent placement. Shifts are 6 AM–6 PM, Monday to Friday, with possible weekend rotation and mileage reimbursement.

The role requires venipuncture experience, a state phlebotomy certificate, and a HS diploma. Pay starts at $20.25/hour with benefits available and driving is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles and follow physician orders.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure correct lab requisitions are matched with samples.
• Maintain specimen integrity per protocol and OSHA/DEP regulations.
• Attend annual department trainings and satisfy inquiries.
