Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role (3 months with potential for permanence). The schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced clinical setting. Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging, maintaining accurate patient data, and following OSHA regulations.

Minimum 1 year of experience and a state phlebotomy certification are required. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification as required in some states.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens and data recording.
• Collects and stores specimens according to procedures and logs maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and assist as required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure correct labeling.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
