Job Juncture is seeking a Phlebotomist for contract work based in Laredo, TX, with travel between two locations. The role involves blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and data entry, with a Monday/Thursday first location schedule and Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday after 10am for the second location, plus Fridays at the second site.

Responsibilities include performing venipunctures, maintaining test integrity, and adhering to OSHA/DEP regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in blood draws and specimen collection.
• Label, centrifuge, and package specimens.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Match requisitions to tubes and ensure correct labeling.
• Maintain specimen integrity and comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.
