Tom Trese Networking LLC in Laredo, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential to convert to permanent. The role requires performing venipunctures, labeling, centrifuging specimens, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include collecting and processing specimens, documenting results, and communicating with patients in a courteous manner. Training and workflow improvements may be part of the job.

Competenze

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED
• minimum 1 year of experience

Mansioni

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain clearly the venipuncture process to patients.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain specimen integrity.
